License and activation

Free trial

MeetingDebrief includes a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No license key or account is required to start the trial. The trial period begins when you first open the app.

License keys

After purchasing MeetingDebrief, you receive a license key in the format MD-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Enter this key in the app to activate your license.

Activating your license

Open the license section in the app and paste your license key. Click Activate. The app contacts the license server to verify and activate the key on your device. This is the only step that requires an internet connection.

Each device on your license is one computer, and each one can be a Mac or a Windows PC. A license for 2 devices can run on two Macs, two Windows PCs, or one of each. To use more computers at the same time, buy a license with more devices.

Updates

Every update is free, including new major versions such as 5.0. There is no update subscription and no paid upgrade. Update from inside the app and your existing license key keeps working.

Deactivating a device

To move your license to a different device, deactivate it first. Open the license section in the app and click Deactivate. This frees the activation slot for use on another machine.

You can also manage activations from your account dashboard at meetingdebrief.com/dashboard. The dashboard lists all active devices and lets you deactivate any of them remotely.
