Terms
Agreement to terms
By downloading, installing, or using MeetingDebrief ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
License
MeetingDebrief grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal and commercial purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms.
Use of the app
You agree to use MeetingDebrief in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the legal right to record conversations in your jurisdiction
- Obtaining consent from meeting participants where required by law
- Managing and securing the recordings, transcripts, and summaries stored on your device
- Any consequences arising from the use of the App's output
Recording consent
Many jurisdictions require consent from one or all parties before recording a conversation. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the recording laws in your area. MeetingDebrief is a tool — how you use it must comply with local laws.
Intellectual property
The App, including its code, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of MeetingDebrief. The AI models included in the App are subject to their respective open-source licenses. Content you create using the App (recordings, transcripts, summaries) belongs to you.
Data and privacy
MeetingDebrief processes all data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or access any of your content. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of warranties
MeetingDebrief is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that transcriptions, key moment detection, or summaries will be perfectly accurate. The App uses AI models that may produce errors, and output should be reviewed before relying on it for critical decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeetingDebrief shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to inaccurate transcriptions, missed content, or data loss.
Updates and changes
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Since all data is stored locally, uninstalling the App will not automatically delete your recordings and transcripts — you can manage these files directly.
